All,
While vigorously cleaning my wheels /tires today I Hit the valve stem and it broke.The first time this happened. i ran over something on the highway and what ever it was kicked up and caught the stem-same result.
With about 10 minutes to spare was able to get it to the local STS and they replaced the valve stem.
This got me thinking... Do they make covers or protectors for the stem? I think i remember seeing a Brush fire vehicle with them installed... although i think they may have been part of the rim.
I dont do much off roading but this again got me thinking... what about people who do?.. run over a twig or any obstruction on a logging road or path.. Besides NOT being a dumba$$ like me What do you guys do? Do they make Shorter valve stems?
