Hi,
I'm new to this forum but what other better place to ask 4Runner questions.
So, I have a 2012 Toyota 4runner Limited and thinking in downsizing to 17's TRD wheels. I also visited my local tire shop "America's tire" and purchased 4 new "Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac 265/70-17 115s. I went with these tires and wheels because I wanted a beefy look and going to start off roading more and heard these were great tires for the snow too.
However, can any of you help me by answering the following questions:
1. I know these wheels will fit, but are they going to cause any issues with the differential/mileage? (I was told about the differential by a friend but don't know how much I believe this).
2. Can I go with 275/70-17 instead of 265/70-17? I don't plan in modifying the suspension at all(raising it) so if I go with 275/70-17 will rub? The current suspension it's all stock.
Please let me know your thoughts.

Congrats on doing a search before you asked, but there is a better tire fitment guide linked in the FAQ. :wink2:
To answer your question, most can go up to the 275/70-17 without much worry about rubbing. You may have some contact with the front lip of the fender but it is easy to trim and relocate the fender liner to get the clearance you need. How much rub you get will depend on you new wheel width and offset. There is a link to trimming and relocating the fender liner also in the FAQ. And there will be no difference in the differential because you are using what would be the factory 17" tire size of you stick with the 265's.
But with your current described setup you should be fine.

By the way, all models of 4Runners fit tires the same (Limited, Trail, etc. does not matter).
If you have a question, try searching before posting. Why? Because your question has almost surely been asked and answered many, many, many times before.
