Tires what are YOU running?

Here is my rig I'm running some dunlops i picked up from a friend, they seem to get good traction although i havent tested them throughly yet.

I am currently nearing the end of the life on my no-name all season tires. I am back and forth between replacing them with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires in the 33x12.50r15 size*, BFG KM2 tires in the 33x10.50r15 size** or Toyo Open Country MT tires in the 33x10.50r15 size***. I have in the past had 35" Pro Comp mud terrains on another vehicle, but they were not impressive to me. I used a set of Toyo Open Country ATs that were nice for an all terrain on the same "other vehicle".

I off road enough to appreciate the self cleaning ability and bite of a mud terrain tire, but at the same time use my rig as a daily driver. It looks like the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac is a a nice combination of off road capable and on road usable. The only problem I have with the Duratrac is that it only comes in a 12.5" width for the 33" diameter size. I am only mildly lifting my 2nd gen 4Runner and do not know if a 33x12.50 tire will fit. I am leaning towards a 33x10.50 tire size, and to that end there are two excellent mud terrain tires offered: the BFG KM2 and Toyo Open Country MT. Either one will do what I need it to do off road, and either one is acceptable on road. While I think the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac is the best fit for me, the sizes offered may force me to go a different route.

So far they are wearing really well, and have very good road manners. Decently quiet on the road till you start getting a slight roar about 50mph, but nothing to loud.

On my 3rd set of KM2's. All have warn evenly without any flats. I don't think they are load at all especially compared to other mud tires or the older BFG's mud.

Mickey Thompson MTZ's They aren't great road tires, but it's not my daily driver. And they're great off road. I do drive on the road. Had them for about 6 months now, and the wear is noticeable but not bad. They do start to make noise about 55MPH or so, but the radio easily drowns them out.

31x10.5 BFG all terrains. We all know what they look like, but this is the best picture i could find

My rig is a DD. So at was the way to go. They are great on the street. I just rotated them, great wear, except for the wear from needing an alignment.

Offroad, they are just what you would imagine, slightly agressive all terrains. They are perfect for what i do. But they really fill up with mud, and you need to get them SPINNING to clear them out. They did fine on the rocks no complaints on dry terrain.

They are a soft rubber too, they have some nice chucks missing from them. But i dont mind, just wear and tear on a tire! Also, some deep gashes in the sidewall, they dont leak, but i was pissed when i saw it, they have maybe 5-6k mile on them:moping:

FLEXincRunner is the only guy I know who runs these tires on 37's...sweet!
