Tires/wheels

I have a 1994 Toyota 4runner, bone stock. I want to get aftermarket tires and wheels. Which is a better way to go with a stock chassis, 16x8 or 16X10? I'm not looking for anything way oversized, just better on the eyes but still capable off road without rubbing. And any tire size suggestions to go with the wheel size suggestions?

What size tire are you running? Rule of thumb is to have the rim at least 2" narrower than your tire...so a 10.5 tire gets a 8" rim.

I also agree on the 15". More tire options.

Well I was thinking of getting 31X10.5 and then putting those on the 16x8 wheels. The wheels that are on it are stock 16s with 265 I believe.
