Tires

My 05 sport has about 21k and the tires are okay (Dunlaps) but I won't make 36k and still have tires that will pass inspection, its a lease. So I want to buy tires now rather than run these down to nothing and put a new set on just to turn in. That all being said I want the Bridgestone Revo's....but they are hard to find, Costco,BJ, and SAm's no longer carry Bridgestone. Can get them from Tirerack mail order but cost $750 with mailing and mounting. Anybody know of a better deal ?

I wonder why those chain stores stop selling Bridgestones...is there a Discount Tire near you??

You can't make 36k on Dunlops???? Why? I know that Dunlops are crappy tires, but they last long.
I'd try to get as far as possible on Dunlops and then if you HAVE TO change tires, buy a set of used ones for 1/4 of a price and return it with them. A lot of guys upgraded to Revos, Nitto or even MTR and have Dunlops somewhere in the garage. If you want I can give you mine for $100 (they have less then 3k). The only thing that I'm in Toronto, you have to pass by or pay shipping.

I've leased plenty of cars for 36/39k, I always put the new tires on at half way, no reason in driving such a nice vehicle and sliding all over the road,

I put Yokohama Geolandar AT+II on my 4Runner, great tires, great price and they don't even wear;): I went with 265/70-17, tirerack has them for 112 a peace

Thanks for the feedbck guys...Alexjet,might take you up on that offer but first will exhaust othr options ...also look into the Yokohama too.
