Looking into new rubber for my 2015 TRD Pro. Truck is used as a commuter and have been happy with the Nittos. See what you guys and gals are using before I order another set of Nittos.

Needs/Wants:

- 99% on road driving
- Some off road look, it is aesthetically needed for this truck
- Snow traction
- Would not mind a bump to 275's as long as stock setup is cool with it.
- Quiet as possible

I run Duratracs, on my 2nd set since I got my truck with 23k miles. The first had 55k miles on them and are still at 10/32nd's but I didnt keep up with the rotations so they got a bit noisy and I couldnt take it. So I sold them to one of my tech's and got new ones lol.
I was going to run Falken AT3W's but I was so happy with the Duratrac's i couldnt give them up. Im getting ready to put Kumho AT51's on my 3rd gen but got those really cheap brand new.
 
Following along with this one... I was dead set on the Grabber ATX's but those appear to be eternally back ordered except for the load range E tires... I had TerraGrappler's on my last SUV (285/60/18 on a lifted Touareg), but somewhere between a slightly off alignment and 50k miles of wear they got quite loud, and while good in the snow, don't have the Severe Snow rating.

I think I'll be ordering a set of 265 Duratracs as they are (fairly) inexpensive, look aggressive, seem to have great reviews, and have the severe snow rating
 
I like my KO2's... I got them in 265/70x17 and the only annoyance I have is that they look pathetically skinny from the rear - like the 4runner skipped leg day.

Not a 5th gen but just went with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's for my truck. Very quiet on road and pretty aggressive tread off road. Plenty of grip when aired down and the E-loads don't feel much different than my previous stock highway tread tires. The noise level in the cabin is basically the same. Plus they're cheap compared to K02s and warrantied for 50k
 
I have the LT (E load) version of the Nitto Terra Grappler G2s. My wants/needs were about the same as yours, except I go offroad fairly often (at least monthly). I've driven them in all conditions including snow, and they've been great. I'm well over 20k miles, and they're still really quiet. They ride a bit stiffer than stock...not much but it's noticeable.

I really think the LT version of these tires are the best kept secret out there. Stock size is only 45lbs per tire. Most people seem to stay away from the Terra Grapplers because of all the negative reviews of the P-rated version. I really think that's from guys using them in situations that need a C load or E load tire.

I had the Falken Wildpeak AT3W in stock 265 and P series. That was the best damn tire I’ve owned. Period. Aggressive looks, incredible performance in all conditions on and off road. Mountain snowflake rated. Cheap.

You simply will not find a better tire for the money. Period.

I’m now running a 33” KO2 and while they’re okay, I miss my Falkens every. Single. Day.

Fairly new member here and haven't posted anything yet. However, I'm really interested in the new AT3 4S by Cooper and will likely be getting those shoes put on within the next month. I'm about 90% road with 10% being gravel/fire roads.

I had the AT3's and loved them.. they were perfect for most on road with slight off road
 
Performance wise in snow/offroad the KO2 is an exceptional tire. The Nitto terragrappler is nowhere near is good. The bad? The KO2's have balancing issues that seem to be random. Part of the problem is my Discount Tire shop likes to do a "balancing" every time I come in for rotation. While I appreciate the gesture of good service, I think they actually ruin the balance of the tire assembly by not doing road force balance. I end up going back complaining about the tires being unbalanced. I finally got a tech to properly balance them and told them to just do a rotation without balancing which seems to have stopped the aggravating rotation/unbalanced cycle. I seriously toy with the idea of going to Goodyear Duratrac or Ultraterrain but tread/sipe depth is greater on the KO2.
 
KO2s and am very pleased with on-road performance. I don't drive fast but I am yet to hear them. Not sure about fuel economy but I'm getting 15mpg in the city Have read from others who've put 275s on that there is no rubbing, mine are 265s. Off-road performance doesn't need to be scrutinized.
 
I've been really happy with the cooper AT3's in the dirt too. They're not mud tires - but they're pretty solid in the go-fast segments and hook up well in the rocks too. And they are soft and quiet on the street. I'd prefer the Cooper ATW also called the XT/4 - but they don't make them in my size. Other good options are Cooper HT, Michelin AT, or Goodyear wrangler ATS (my personal favorite if they made them in a larger size).

The only tires I haven't really liked were the Toyo AT2s.
