I've noticed that some sections, like 'engine maitenance' on page 95, has a bunch of procedures and maintenance items but the detailed explanation is hidden (all I see is a column labeled 'See Procedure' and below it a button market 'info'). Is there any way to get access to those?

alldata presently has FSMs for 2010-2013 4 Runner. I have one of their electronic FSMs for an '06 Avalon and it is a carbon copy of what Toyota produced.
That's actually not a bad deal. $50 for 5 years of usage. Does that include engine diagnostics too or just the basic repair manual?

I just bought a 2012 4runner and would love to have a decent repair manual for it. I have tried 3-ways to Sunday in order to extract the files but it fails each time. I have followed what other members procedures but still no luck. I have tried extracting to the same folder as well as a folder located on an external drive. The main error I receive is "The same volume can not be used as the source and destination".
Do you have any ideas for me? Thanks in advance.

I downloaded the zips, but no files come out of compression, just more zip files.
Any assistance from anyone would be great.

[MENTION=92546]MadeInMaine[/MENTION], try "The Unarchiver" for your Mac. Whatever archive/decompression that Mac's can do out of the box didn't work for the FSM files for me. As you said, it would just unarchive it into another zip. I downloaded and installed Unarchiver for free, and it magically worked. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-unarchiver/id425424353?mt=12.
I'm typically apprehensive of software that isn't from large or well known developers, but sometimes that's all that's available.

For those of you having trouble with a Mac, I will second using "The Unarchiver" app free from the app store. The built in one, WinZip, and Stuff Expander are all inferior. You still need to download all three parts of the zip file you choose from the original link, but it will work.

WOW! I am new this group - just got a 4-Runner. These manuals are amazing. Thank you nashman69g.
All the original files on mediafire still work!

Software to unarchive (aka un-zip)
For the Mac, follow link 4boer2's post(#177) and get The Unarchiver. I have been using this for years. It is the best unarchiving program for MacOS.
For Windows, 7-Zip is a great program and I have confirmed it will extract these files in Win 7 and Win 10. 7-Zip
For the RM, they had to split it into three pieces.
Get all three files (RM.zip, RM.z01, RM.z02) in one directory.
Double-click RM.zip and that is it. If you are using one of the above software packages, it will do all the work for you and re-combine the files. The end result is new folder (directory) call RM.
It is awesome! Thanks again nashman!

If anyone is having trouble with the previous shared links. I've un-zipped them, and then rezipped them as bigger zip files so any computer should be able to decompress them without a special app. YMMV if you are using ChomeOS.
