TJM Front Bumper

Yeah, they don’t do direct sales, so you have to get pricing from a dealer. I got mine through Bullhide 4x4. It was about $700 plus shipping IIRC

saw one....

I bought rims from a guy last month who had the TJM pictured, he liked it, it looked good, he drilled and bolted PIAA lights onto the top in front of the radiator.
Here in the Bay Area a guy in Sacramento sells them on Craigslist, $600 local pickup tax included.

I am guessing they are Made in China, hence the price, I THINK TJM discontinued them for awhile and now sells again, I have seen steel bumpers on the Alibaba website for Jeeps etc. just a guess so take with a huge grain of salt.

Having seen the one, I would not hesitate to buy one if I were in the market, if the price were right.

Not to discourage, but wow 105 lb's. That's quite heavy to the front end. I once replaced JDM aluminum bull bar onto a Hilux pickup 5 speed diesel: It wasn't this heavy but close, Before the installation, I could pickup and go in 2nd gear at idle but not after the installation.

I had the earlier incarnation of this bumper on my '91 truck. Installed easy, looked great, never put a winch in it.
I actually need the extra weight now to push down the tall OME springs that I got.

The Savage front hybrid winch bumper is one of the lighter ones at 83 lbs. What it replaces, at least on my 2000, was about 36 lbs. The delta is what matters, and for me, less than 50 lbs.

Lol I literally went to the forum to check on this bumper because of this exact CL ad. I could get it for $600 + tax and run up to Sac to get it. Wasn’t sure of quality or feedback.

Unless they upped the price, it is $600 out the door.

Originally they listed $550 and charged tax, but C-listers think tax free.

Then they syarted listing at $600 but stated including tax....

Thanks Capnemo. I am not sure if I am going with their style bumper or not and I am not in the market for one yet, however, the price point makes it very attractive.

I've had this bumper on for about a year. It's been great, no complaints, but I wish it had cutouts for lights. There are pre-drilled holes on the top surface of the bumper for mounting, but I'd like something a little cleaner.

Here's a picture of it mounted

The lights are just $20 Amazon specials, the holes in the bumper are unthreaded, so you can mount anything that can be mounted on a post. I was able to tighten the nuts through the winch access holes.

Here's another angle:
