Possible to install 2014+ bumper on 2012?

I have a 2012 sr5 that I would like to install a TJM Frontier bumper on, but the bumper is made for 2014+. The reason I want to go with this bumper is that it is available locally for a good price. Is it possible to install newer bumpers on the older 5th gens? Like, are all the mounting holes the same on both vehicles? I understand the cutting of the bumper will go differently, and I am okay figuring that out on my own as long as I know that mechanically it will fit.

Did you install the 2014 TJM bumper on your 2012?
