TLC mistaken for T4R = $400K jury award

Article in today's paper about a jury awarding a guy and his family a $400,000 judgement for a false arrest (cut in half by judge to $200,000). Says the sherrif's department was looking for a drug dealer or something in a black T4R and ended up pulling over a guy and his family in a dark green TLC instead

Ouch, good one Thai! Let us pray that Toyota is being honest when they claim the 5th gen T4R will "return to its roots" with "enhanced rugged sporty exterior styling".

hahaha cops are dumb...did you hear about the two cops in Jersey who arrested Bob Dylan? He was walking through a small community around 2am after a show and cops pulled up and asked for ID. He was like "guys...i'm bob dylan..." neither of them recognized him, arrested him and his security detail had to go to the precinct and identify him

Well I think there was a bit more to the story then just getting pulled over, something about having guns pointed at his family, getting roughed up a bit, having a few body cavities searched, etc The county where this took place is one of, if not the most, "red" counties in Florida so I'm pretty sure the jury wasn't a bunch of anti-cop liberals who just willy nilly decided to throw them the money for nothing.

Well we have a lot of cops on this board and I'm pretty sure they all would have been smart enough to know the difference

I did read about that Dylan story, pretty funny. However, I'm not sure I would have recognized him either and I've actually seen him in concert (against my will ).

It's just my opinion but i didn't use any of the words you mentioned to describe it. IMO I don't really like it. Maybe Im just justifying my 4th gen. =)
