TN BlueRaider Build Thread

Man it's been a rough semester at school..

Well finally got time off work and school, so decided to finally get my grill done!
Already started and waiting for the 2nd coat to dry. Also painted my front emblem, since I missed it when I did all the others.

I hate masking!

Hey man your runner looks good. I live up in Gallatin, went to MTSU back in the day. Had too much fun there. Spent the afternoon working on mine too. Installed the B&M tranny cooler. Keep up the cool mods.

That's awesome man, yeah mtsu can be pretty fun lol and Ill try to keep the mods flowing. Hopefully I can get some clear corners for xmas :banana:

I got mine off ebay, I believe it was $15-20 shipped. Its some nice durable metal not plastic, so I though it was a pretty good deal.
 
Nice pics. Just wondering, did you paint the wiper arms on the truck or did you remove them? If you did, then how did you get them off? Mine won't budge.

Took them off. Did you take off the covers to show the bolts to undo? If not try that, and if you did do that sometimes they need a little wiggling to get them off. Hope this helps can send you pics if needed :thumb3:
 
Well on the back part of the passenger front wheel well (by the running board) hits barely. I cut out a small piece of it and its fine now. Took the duratracs through some fairly decent mud today and it was nothing.. If I went slow I wouldnt even spin tires. These things are amazing so far. Very little road noise too
 
So it's been a little while since you installed the JVC receiver...are you still liking it?

I really hope you are because I just bought one off Crutchfield, lol.

Rig looks great, makes me miss my '98
 
be sure to hit your duratracs with some wheel finish (makes them really dark black and fresh!). I did mine last week and am sad I didn't do it when I first bought my duratracs 1-2 months ago

One of the most surprising aspects of them - looks like a MT but sounds like an AT!

This NAV unit is awesome, if using an iPod very easy to navigate through music. I love everything about it and I don't think you'll be disappointed :)

I was expecting to have a some vibration and a lot of noise, but these vibrate only slightly a little over 70. Great tires, thanks for posting :)

A small part of me was telling me to not but them, but I couldn't resist haha. If they wear for me okay, I will definitely be buying another set no question. Thanks for the kind words everyone! My next mods will probably be some exterior cosmetics like led tails, clear corners, and some leds to those of you who are following my build :thumb3:
 
Your runner looks great! I followed your idea and painted the plate surround on mine. Love it!

No offense to a fellow blue raider, but those running boards have got to go!
