I have been considering doing a long travel rear on my 5th gen 4Runner. Only reason being I’ll be replacing the shocks and springs anyhow and I figure a LT set up would be the ultimate bang for the buck.
Or is it?
How much more flex do you get out of it compared to a Icon set up with aftermarket rear lower links only. If it’s only a few inches maybe it isn’t worth it being that to LT the rear you also need upper, lower, panhard and extended brake lines and bump stops.
