Great video. It was a beautiful snowfall all afternoon.
The inspection stickers say you're in Pennsylvania. Go Iggles!
Today is the first day I've used the 4WD in earnest and I loved the peace of mind. I had to fetch my wife from the train station during rush hour.
It was interesting to see so many accidents and cars pulled to the side of the road with their hazards on.

It was a mess out there....but not if you were in a Runner! I passed five accidents in just several meters. It was a road at a hill, one was a head on, one was a lady took out a mailbox, one vehicle took out about fifty feet of a farmers fence.... LEOs were on the scene so I just motored on by..... At speed!

West Orange, NJ was an absolute mess. It took my in-laws over 8 hours to get home. My sister-in-law was stuck at her school overnight with all her special needs kids. There were kids stuck on school buses for hours. My friend walked over a mile to get his nephew off the bus and carried him home.
This town is known for really bad roads when it snows. There's a lot of steep hills. They didn't call for early dismissal. wtf?!? My town called early dismissal the night before. lesson leaned.

The wife was skeptical about the benefits of 4WD when we purchased our 4Runner this summer. After the 4Runner demonstrated its surefootedness yesterday while others were failing, she's firmly convinced.

Yes the 4Runner is fun in the snow but always remember if the snow gets deep to turn off traction control or else you may get stuck. Damn near happened to me in my Gen4, I went into an unplowed parking lot with 10+ inch of snow. I was trying to have fun, first snow when ABS / traction control starts trying to keep me straight, not slide around and spinning the tires.
