Honestly.. I was in my lane heading towards the freeway..but suddenly, some **** decides to hop from the right turn lane into mine with marginal space to spare... followed by that cock merging over to the left side lane but that wasn't enough.. he decides to hop back in my lane.. swirling left and right.. having no idea where to go..

finally gets to the free way and tries to cut me off in his pos charger.. if that wasn't enough.. "tries" to hit my car with water from his windshield washer fluid...

on top of that.. no signal will turning.. doesn't do an complete stop even though the light was red.. and then tries to stare me down at the night, on top of that.. wants to take an picture of me..

sorry for the rant.. is people like these that causes road rage and accidents.. wish I had an shrockworks bumper... :hungry:

The best thing to do is wait patiently for your chance at revenge. Wait for that one moment when you can pass him and he can't get over, or one of my favorites, keep even with the car next you you so he cant pass either of you and is stuck. There is always a chance to get them back, even without doing anything illegal. Those are more fun too haha

Did it have CA plates "rude r/t" ?

guy honks @ me when i, signaled, had space and pulled in front of him b/c someone was going left in front of me. Then they had the the same thing happen to them, they signaled, i slowed and i let them in.

I would have much rather been riding my bike.

honestly.. is people like that makes the road unsafe for others.. is like in broncosi thread.. I don't know why the dmv let these people get an license..

~*My job's as a territory sales rep/manager, I drive a minimum of 7-8 hours a day during my work week, that's a minimum of easily 40 hours a week on the road in the company car, I see a lot of this.*

DO NOT RESPOND OR REACT TO IT. DRIVE DEFENSIVELY, NOT OFFENSIVELY, AND DO NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT.

It's happening a lot on the freeways everywhere now, a lot more than most realize. I have had almost bi-weekly meetings this past Summer with our staff/drivers about this. It looks like it has become a sort of game now to get you to go off on them and get you on film. Basically a "Cool Kid" or gang deal now. Maybe they need the insurance check to make their car payments??

I have armor all around my Runner and it's like they want to jump out in front to get hit and get money. Here's what I do in this case, I simply try to get it on film, if possible. We had two distinct drivers (Mr. BALD-A-Hole driving in his p.o.s. RAV-4, "dicing in and out of the diamond lane and a single driver, no passenger at all", in FREMONT comes to mind) doing it here during the 880-S/B Commute into San Jose. I have a cell phone, it has a video function, and I can simply key on the video choice, put the phone in sleep, and turn it on and lay it on my dash and film them as need be, it's completely legal to do so. If I was to get pulled over for using my phone, what's a L.E.O. going to honestly say when presented with video evidence? :D

Driver I know did exactly that and has me as a witness. We handed the video into CHP last week and guess what...

One less jackass during the commute. He could have been a student, but my perspective is he's a sad idiot who cannot afford car payments, moved out here for a job, likely is a cocky-f*ck at work and in life too and pisses people off. Get him caught and pulled over, Voila. Late to work means his employer has a TON of other choices to use from the unemployment pool.

:D Know what I am saying here. Now that I've said all this I'll likely I'll get cut off 7 hours from now b/c I can't "knock on wood", but it's a part of the game. Don't play into it. Don't lower yourself to that level. If you do and something happens nobody here wins. Remember, the video above is in Driver's Ed for a reason.

Be safe people's. :hatsoff:

it happened in Davis..

maybe this will be the call to get an go-pro with an in car mount..

honestly.. this tool was weaving in and out in the city followed by that little stunt on the freeway..

Yep, get the GoPro, it's what our driver had. One thing the L.E.O. pointed out was that she had it up by her rearview mirror instead of within what he considered plain sight. I think his concern was that the other dude could use that as a defense and say "she was fishing for it to happen".

Here's a video from that week when we were trying to catch Mr. BALD in the act. It's a rare one, VERY little traffic that day. Pay no attention to the soundtrack. ;)

Watch @ :24, you can see the guy in the black Honda who was dicing around behind us trying to decide whether or not to play chicken with me, he backs off really quick when he see's my armor and then goes once I tapped my brakes. I then merge over as an unmarked CHP (Blue Highlander) comes up behind me first lights going, then pulls him over. You can see how bad he started tailgating the white Tacoma. At 1:27 he also see's the CHP behind me, knows he's busted and in trying to hide almost crashes into the other semi-truck in the #2 lane. :D

*Again, pay no attention to the soundtrack, LOL. Gotta love 80's music.

Maybe I'm ignorant but I didn't see anything in that video besides some tailgating at the very beginning.

Why would the guy in the honda get pulled over? I'm very confused.

You guys are tripping!!! Like none of you have ever done anything wrong on the road. I'm pretty sure we're all guilty of "road raging" sometime in our past. Don't get you're panties all up in a bunch because someone cut you off, you've done it to someone in the past as well. What comes around, goes around. :flipoff:

Impeding traffic = illegal

I like when a shiny sports car tailgates me and I hit the windshield washer stalk! Love ruining a new wash lol. Yeah, today's drivers are crazy out there.

FWIW I gave this topic some random thought today, I don't suppose maybe it was just some guy/gal who knows you or is a fanboi/fangurl of the site and likes your rig and was trying to get you to stop, chat, exchange info, schedule a date, what have you? :wow2:

The entire situation wasn't filmed, consider that it took me time to actually pull the phone out discreetly and get it to where I could film the jackass in the first place. I don't exactly go around filming my daily drive. There's no hotties lately and even if a Ta-Ta Tuesday's on I won't be trying to film.

BTW, that "motor mania" clip is sweet! :peace:

Thanks, always brings a smile to my face.

I love the "everyone-does-it" argument that people like to use to excuse their own bad behavior. I see it all the time from job applicants about drug tests.

But sorry, I actually have NEVER driven like an ********* or cut someone off. It doesn't mean I'm perfect, because I'm not. It's just that there's no place I need to be so quickly as to endanger my own life or someone else's. I also tend to...um...pay attention when I'm behind the wheel.

I'm willing to bet there are others here who haven't driven like tools, as well.
So lets not try painting everyone with the same brush.

Speaking of drugs remember you are on the road with a whole lot of folks under the influence of legal and illegal drugs. And somedays they miss a dose.

Also give way to all BMW's (or die)

Obviously you got your panties in a bunch :happens::moon::withstupid:

At one point or another I drove like a tool. Always in a rush to get anywhere and putting other drivers through a living hell. As I got older(and in a few accidents), I slowed down, learned to look both ways, and take the scenic route when possible.

see.. where i live, Norcal.. people don't look both ways, rolls the stop signs.. and love hybrids... they drive their Prius like an mad race car.. going like 100+ mph everywhere...

plus my girlfriend gives me crap for my driving style... lol
