Howdy. Just bought a MGM/RW LE 4WD 3rd row and am loving it. Enjoying this community as well and am learning a lot.
I've previously owned a 01 Tacoma xtra cab and a 07 Ridgeline RTS. Both were fine vehicles and did the job I needed, but each time I graduated to a vehicle with more seat belts. When our 4th (another boy) was born my wife told me she thought I needed a 3rd row vehicle. Realizing that was a lost argument, I began researching my options and was delighted to learn the 4R offers a 3rd row. The first test drive immediately reminded me of my Tacoma and my wife suggested I needed no more. I thought I needed to perform due diligence, but half a block into the Highlander test drive I knew she was right.
I wanted the LE's 4WD option for the utility, but now realizing it's fully capable and not just an AWD utility I'd like to get her dirty and learn how to get around off the road. I've already seen that mods are like tattoos, and while I want to keep her "clean," we'll see what happens. (Louisiana off roading usually involves little more than mud pits, which don't interest me, so I can wait on that sort of mod.) I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of annoying questions, often in an annoying way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
