TomasAllan's Build (Warning: Pic Heavy)

So here it is, I've been meaning to do this for a while but have been busy doing ..... well, just life in general :-)

So I picked up my baby in April brand new from the dealer, it is a 2014 SR5 Premium. My kids immediately nicknamed it "the snow leopard" even though I constantly say "no, just 4runner" haha.

Here are some pics of it initially when I got it. ....... more to come later.

One of the first things I did was to put on an OME 3" Lift and some tires, I ended up going with the Dick Cepek DC2 Black's & Nitto Terra Grapplers for all 5 wheels based on the look I wanted and weight.

I did some amazon LED's which had great reviews but I am not totally convinced so might end up looking for better ones later.

Any advice on good LED's would be appreciated.

Here they are......... 4x4Labs Sliders.

Big thanks to bimrunner

As you can see I had to cut/trim the sliders just a bit on each side to go around this frame post (I just didn't want to cut or bend this.....so I preferred to mess with the slider rather than the car)

Luke @ 4x4Labs was a blast to do business with not only at the beginning but through and after the completion of the project he kept actively communicating and making sure things went smooth.....

.... sliders continued.

These things are SOLID!

They already paid for themselves a couple weeks ago while going up Bell Mtn in GA, that side of the truck was hanging on a boulder...... I could hear the moans of the expectators around the car as if something bad was expected..... after further inspections there was nothing/zilch/nada..... barely a tiny scrape.

RCI set of skids (minus fuel tank..... that'll be coming relatively soon).

Not really that hard to install..... wife provided the assistance I needed.

Here they are powder coated and ready to go.

These things are hefty....

HiLift Mounts from GOBI and HiLift off course.... thanks to Sandra for expediting them .... :-)

And a couple decals to add some more HP's :biggrin2:

Couple zip ties around the base and mechanism and voila..... barely any rattling if at all, net is I don't hear it.

Some Rigid Dually's mounted on a set of Ditch Mount Brackets from CBI.....

As you can see I have a bit of a problem there on the hood, after calling them they said I need to trim the plastic cowling beneath them....... uhmm.... dunno about that....... I will give it some thought.

Also added the ScanGauge II to the car top left from steering...

So... finally decided to go the Toytec Boss route and yank the OME setup out (sold it to an FJ friend)

Sway Bar Relocated and Drop Diff in.

Smoother ride and the ability to crank these up when I get my southernss-slimline-hybrid-front-bumper installed..... I am sure I am going to nose dive a bit after that with winch and all.

One change I made is I kept the OME Rear 899's for handling a rear bumper

Thanks to my bud toyo

Finally received my Fuse/Relay Box from Erik @ Wired Wagon LLC. (in case you're interested here is his email address: [email protected] - he is awesome to do business with) and also my switches from "Air on Board"

Thanks to harkco for the info on the relay-fuse box and switches and for the willingness to help.

Also got my light brackets from Axia Alloys..... I had to use them since I got the GOBI with those front posts which are kind of in the way.....
