Fixed that for you :behindsofa::behindsofa:; I am a VT football fan as well. Hopefully Beamer gets some better results and climbs back into contention soon. Not sure what to expect from the basketball team but not a fan of Buzz.

Cut your exhaust pipe after the axle as it is pointing down. Won't be getting in the way at all and looks super clean. Take a look somewhere in my build thread to see how I did mine.

Good looking build so far. And Luke is an awesome dude!

SSS Hybrid Slimline Front Bumper Install

Alright boys and girls, this is how my day went today thanks to [MENTION=632]toyo[/MENTION] and [MENTION=69819]FactoryRide[/MENTION]..... :usa2:

We took the original bumper off and started cutting based on the template Kevin provided, granted at first (we learned our lesson in the past) we cut wide to make sure we had room to perfect our cuts.

Mount and measure....

Here is one of the things we did differently though, we left a bit of a lip *** but could've left a bit more *** (you know to that side of the big bottom piece that goes away) on the sides and in our opinion this would give a better look, a lot more factory integrated..... but not too shabby though, I think it came out great at the end.

Winch installed (Smithy Built.... yeah yeah I know $$) and getting the Synth line in....

Success....

Now it was time for the final cuts, getting the edge trim (included) installed and fiddling around with the side brackets that hold the rest of the bumper in place at the bottom...... didn't take a detailed picture of those so I promise I'll get some later and post them..... that was a bit of a biatch to line up and put on..... it required some extra cutting at the bottom of the bumper just to get things to line up perfectly..... it might require a bit of finesse and some elbow grease to get those bolts in there :fear:

And voila........ done!!

We lined up the box so that we wouldn't have to cut anywhere for the remote, easy access really as its very close to the grill but not close enough so that you couldn't flip the rubber protection tab open...

Drilled the top plastic cowling for an access port to the clutch lever....... (four holes with the circular drill bit thingy then used the seesaw to square things off...... yes I have big hands damn it...)

And the reason this all looks so clean and good....... Steven [MENTION=632]toyo[/MENTION], bud .... this build could not have happened without you and your amazing knowledge about everything .... and off course you being so anal and well...... your vaseline :focus:...... here is to a fun Colorado/Utah trip....... :cheers:

Just came across you great build thread. Talk about jealous. How do you like your HeftyFab bumber? Seems like everyone goes CBI but HeftyFab is local to me so I am leaning towards their bumper. What was total cost?
