Hey guys. It's tony2no and just thought that I should start a 'build thread' and do my introduction. I'm 17 years old out of Southern California and I've had my '994Runner for about a year and a half now and I love it.

Day I got it:

My dad works for Toyota and I had been bugging my parents for weeks about a car after I had gotten my license. It seemed at first that I wasn't going to get a car by the end of summer so I had given up. And then there was one day when I needed to use my dad's truck and he was taking quite a bit of time getting home. So after about an hour of waiting, he pulled up in the 4Runner, so I thought it was one of his clients, but it turned out to be mine!

So over the past year I haven't done much but I did add a new Kenwood head unit about 7 months ago and put in new 100w speakers through out the car and it sounds great.

Yet this past month my dad surprised me yet again as he took my to work for an "oil change and tire rotation" which actually turned out to be a new sport hood! And it looks so good.

And today I did the newest mod: ditched the running boards. Might I add that it looks absolutely amazing.

You're so lucky to have a dad that surprises you with everything 4Runner related, and with him working at Toyota...parts come in cheap too!

I like the hood.. The first thing I did when I got mine was to get rid of the running boards....Keep up the mods...

Well I haven't really had the time to take any pictures of my Runner lately, but here she is. I put on some Tundra rims that I picked up off of a totaled Sequoia that was headed to auction, another swap. Without further ado, here she is:

My little girl is growin up :'), she just rolled past 150,000 miles! Yet, I've been having an issue with my starter lately, sometimes it wont turn at the first time I try to start it up. But I had the starter tested about a week ago and it seems that I'm popping in a new one this upcoming week. Another downfall is that the internal amp on my headunit is busted, so if I try and listen to my music past a certain level, Poltergeist comes out of my speakers. Best bet is for me to buy and aftermarket amp and pop it in so I can get some noise out of the speakers.

Corny: Haha, yeah man! Well this is a bit out of date (18 now) but I've been driving this since I was 16!

Hepar: It's been so great to have! Just perfect for everything I do, and I plan on keeping her for a long while!

ryhi: I'm in San Dimas, Raging Waters and Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure? Haha, Right where the 57 and 210 meet up.

unfortunately, she is just a 2WD, but she gets by just fine.
