Took my side steps off

Today I took my side steps off my 06 Sport , they keep my legs and pants dirty everytime I get in and out. They also are crap collectors and alway ave mud , snow & ice on them,so I thought I would take them off and see what it looked like....I like it ! visually it seems to make it look a few inches higher.

Get ready from some paint chips on the side of your 4runner. I would get mudflaps or rock sliders. Leaving it bare will cause paint chips, esp. if you have all-terrain tires that retain large pebbles.

I have mud flaps ( on all 4's ) and the clear plastic 2" strip along the bottom. BTW what I took off were tube step's and not running boards,so I doubt they did anything to prevent any type of debris or chips.

I've really got to take some time and learn how to post pics. Once I do you will be sorry , because you'll see pic's of everything , wife , 4R , Cobra , Girlfriend , my cats , house , yard , neighbors dogs ect.....

Even with mud flaps you will get all kinds of debris hitting the sides. Maybe if you washed the truck every now and then your pants would not have gotten dirty.:biggrin2: Just kidding!
