Took this STS Turbocharged 1997 4 Runner on trade. Whats it worth?

I took this truck in on trade yesterday. Really unique set up and wasnt sure what it was worth as i have never seen one before.
Its a white 97 SR5 with 114k automatic. Has power everything with a roof and factory cd.
Mint condition througout.
The turbo kit is mounted in front of the rear tire. Runs about 5 psi and pulls very strong.
The guy told mehad the transmission done as well.
Truck drives like stock period until you punch it.
What is something like this worth?

Truthfully it's not much more than a regular '97 4Runner since mods don't increase value drastically. is it 4wd?

yea its 4WD.
Well i guess i will just hold onto it then. I know the kit cost a good deal and to have it installed as well...
I gave him $8000 on trade.
Maybe the place to put it is ebay. I thought they didnt make a kit for this truck?

Technically there isn't a 'mass produced' turbo kit out for 4Runners. The only FI kit is the TRD S/C kit which is what the majority of owners do b/c its the easiest and 'safest' in terms of warranty, etc. However, if you have the funds, you can pretty much turbo anything, so I'm not surprised there is a turbo 4Runner out there. The only thing w/ going turbo is making sure your run low enough boost so you won't harm the internals or tranny.
