Tool Question

I want to put together a small tool kit it keep in the back. Nothing elaborate. Was thinking along the lines of cresent wrench, channel locks screw drivers etc. Anyone out there have advice on what to put in there? I am not that mechanically inclined so i am not looking to do a lot of work, just in case I get into a pinch.
