Top 3 best mods

Thanks for the clarification. :)

Mine are:

- Replacement front/rear bumper with swing out tire carrier
- Replace head unit (done)
- Suspension re-work and upgrade (pending)

Is the wire mod you guys keep mentioning the locking rear diff that is already on the 98 Limited?

The wire mod is to use the locking diff in different modes. From the factory you have to be in 4lo in order to use the locking diff. with the wire mod it bypasses that system so you can use it in 2wd, AWD, 4hi, and 4lo. Pretty useful, especially for donuts :nerd:

Those most useful "mods" that are on my 4runner:
-Rear Locker
-Vinyl Floor (can blow truck out with lawn blower and wipe floor with towel)
-12v Fridge
-27f battery
-Expo Roof Rack

TBU almost made my top 3, the thing is, I can't sleep in my 13WL's. But they are really nice. It would definitely make it in my top 3 mods from other Toyota vehicles!
Tundra TRD coils
LC 80 Rear Springs
Tundra Calipers

With money i would do 1 supercharger...2 locker front and rear... 3 lift for 35" rubber....:guitar3:
Since i'm not that fortunate i did 1 projector hid retrofit.... 2 small lift (2.5") up for 285/75r16 and 3 2of the big 3 electric mods:thumb3:

(In ascending order of importance)

3.) Traveling buddy:

Or two...
The Black Shepard is Eros & my little mutt is Melissa.

My List:
1: Energy Steering Rack Bushings
2: PIAA Driving & Fog Lights
3: TBU

I'll play

1. dual cases with tripple Stick :pimp:
2. Front and rear ARB lockers
3. king suspension to let me run my 35's
4. full float rear conversion
5. ok that's more than 3 sorry.

I'm a full noob with these trucks (calling them trucks is an upgrade, isn't it?) but here are my top 3 to date

1. f/r suspension lift and level using OME blocks, shocks and springs
2. head unit swap (need to add sound deadening)
3. black out package (in progress) debadge, paint rims, projector headlamps
4. TLC hood strut upgrade per cbr900boy (just ordered struts)

Future upgrades still in research stage
a. 4x4 conversion
b. supercharger
c. LC suspension
d. functional hood scoop

My top 3 are:

1. 4cyl swap cuz who needs that way too overpowered V6 engine anyways.
2. 2wd conversion, 4wd really sucks in the snow.
3. This is a tie it was too hard to figure out which is better; 15in wheels w/ 235/70/15 tires and 15in rotors and calipers OMGosh soooo much stopping power

Honorable mentions:
Stick family bumper sticker
Baby on board bumper sticker
Oversized Yakima roof rack carrier cuz I pack so much stuff when I'm going out of town and "roughing" it in a lodge while I wear Birkenstock sandals and man capris
