Nice, please post some beam cutoff shots with those LED bulbs. I've read they don't provide the distance as HIDs do. Curious how they perform.

06+ Headlight and trim install + LED headlights.
The lights still need to be adjusted some but this gives a good idea of the install process and what you might expect with the LED lights. They are certainly brighter and crisper light than the high end sylvanias but not sure how they compare to HIDs. Once I get them dialed in I will post a picture down a dark road and more cutoff pictures.

Hard to say if they are worth the $100 or not. I need to play around with them a bit and get them aimed correctly, one of the projectors is slightly off and I am waiting for a replacement. Couldn't help myself so I went ahead and installed them as is

Nice work sir! That headlight update looks great on your silver truck!
The cutoff of those beams actually looks pretty good. If you wanted to clean up the cutoff a little more, you'd just want to bend down the metal piece above the 'squirel finders'. Looks great! Get some night shots next:third:

Got my replacement headlights today and got them adjusted perfectly this time. The cutoff is much cleaner, I'll get some pics up ASAP. I also decided to hook up the DRL/turn signals while I had them out. I opted to discontinue using the lights in the bumper and just use the lights in the headlights for DRL and turn signals. I think it looks cleaner and it would be unnecessary to have 4 lights on during the day and 2 blinkers per side IMO. I have never liked the double clear lens in the bumper so I painted the DRL/turns the stock color of my truck. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I may end up painting in black and then blacking out the fogs next to it on the inside so it's just the projector. For now it's good. Love the look of the headlights and glad to have it done right.
Parts for DLR/Signals: I purchased generic 1147 sockets off eBay (4 for $10) and spliced them in. The only modification needed on the sockets was removal of one of the tabs so they would fit. They work perfect and are sealed tight.

What are the aftermarket headlights you purchased? I need to do the same here soon.
Any chance you could post a photo of the output with the LEDs, further back from a wall, like aimed down the street?

I need to do this headlight mod. Looks great!!! Too bad you're AZ and not FL.....would pay you to do this same set up on my 2004.

Nice rig man! What window visors are you running? And do you like them? I have the egr in channel window visors and they suck. Tons of wind noise since the moment I installed them.

When your rear wheel is stuffed does it rub the mud flap? I left my rear mud flaps on and recently realized they rub and make a lot of noise when fully stuffed so I may have to ditch them. Asking because we have the same tire/wheel combo
