Toronto Area Mechanics - CV axle replacement

Hi All,

Anyone ever get any work done on their 4runner at a local mechanic they would recommend in Toronto? Need to get a CV axle replaced as my left front inner boot is cracked open and the grease has leaked. Dealership wants $810 to replace the drive shaft. Want to order the part and pay a local mechanic to do the install.

Just my 2cents but just get a new boot & repack them till spring unless its been torn a long time , less hassle & cheaper too . This what happened to mine after the lift dry boot cracked & my mech made suggestion so I replaced all 4 & repacked them , all good .
