Im going to install new plugs on my 06 v6 in a few months and I was wondering do the plugs have a torque spec and does anyone know what it is ??

Also do the stock plugs cost big $$$ from the dealer or should I use a good aftermarket plug?

Spark plugs are cheap, and you should walk out of the toyota parts dept w/ 6 for about $15.

Invest in a torque wrench with the money your saving by doing it self. You'll find the torque wrench comes handy when you least expect it.

Be sure to apply anti-seize to the threads too.
Don't overtighten spark plugs, a little more than hand tight with the ratchet works for me.

I find it silly to torque spark plugs on steel heads but the Toy is aluminum and only requires around 13 ft-lbs. This is really low and easy to over torque with a torque wrench.
