Well I am in Seattle and the wife is still back in Boston till the house sells.
She worked the night before then had to go to work in the morning and hit a gaurd rail and the bags deployed, so if they did you know it is totaled.
So a new 4Runner soon or a FJ maybe.

Air bags alone won't total it, but they do put you about $1500 into repairs from the start. An 03 only had steering wheel and passenger side air bags. If she didn't have anyone in the passenger side it is only about $600 or so just for the drivers side since it is just the bag. The rest depends on how much damage. Bumper and a fender will run about $2k. A hood and both fenders, radiator, etc. may put you at 5K. That will put you close to being a total depending on your mileage.
