Glad to hear you're ok OP. I too am curious about the brakes. If they indeed completely went out (which would surprise me) then you got extremely lucky. Could have been a LOT worse.

ok, the light rack is made by Carr. and after the wreck i went and checked the brakes and they went straight down to the floor with hardly any force at all. As for the other car, i hit a lifted jeep and i crashed into the spare tire and his custom rear bumper. Fixable. Also i had no time for the E-brake and dident think about it TBH
