We had a big storm last night and woke up to this:

Lots of damage to both vehicles. The spoiler fell into the rear hatch area:

Do you think it will be totaled?
Might be, should have parked where that second pic is....would have been fine. Although this is counterproductive to the thread a "big storm" everyone usually knows about and knows its coming....could have prevented this by parking 30ft away.
The storm was strange. It developed on the radar about 20 miles west of us and formed really quickly. The cell was only about 5 miles wide and on the radar it had zero green, just red. Neither of the cities near us even got rain. So, the storm was big in its damage, not in size or forewarning.

Eyeball estimate of repair is $9-10,000. 70% value is the cutoff for being totaled and this would be $13,300 based on what they are finding for ACV of the vehicle. Damn Toyotas really hold their value. Mine even has 100,000 miles on it! If this ends up being the case, I will be the proud new owner of a virtually new 4Runner (bodywise that is). There are dents all the way up to the hood from where branches landed. I would rather have it totaled and get the used 2010 Salsa Red 5th gen. near me!
Holy Crap, that sucks!! I got a sister in Nashville (Brentwood).
Good Luck getting her fixed. Keep us updated!!
