Totalled..... ***Just added PIX***

My rear left tire tread came apart on me while going over the Petaluma bridge at 65 mph. Lost control hit both guard rails almost flipping over the bridge.
And to completely **** me up, my dog was in the back, and jumped out the shattered window to run away. Screw the Runner, I want my dog back!


Good news for some of you, I will be parting it out at some point. I will keep you all posted of that information.

AAANNNDDD... like an idiot, I dont have full coverage! I have a little more than liability, so I dont know what will happen there!

Damn man, that sounds rough :wow2:. It's a good thing you're okay and didn't get hit by anyone while it happened. Do you know what caused the tire to fail? I worry about stuff like that on my motorcycles all the time.

Best wishes in finding your dog and sorting this mess out, hopefully your luck will improve.

Wow! Hope you are ok. That really sucks man. What tires were you running at the time? How much life did you have left on them? Sounds like something went wrong with your tire that shouldn't have.

Good luck with your dog.

Thank you. I was amazed no one hit me! NO idea what caused it, it just unwrapped!

I bought them used, (never doing that again!), but they were practically brand new! About 1/4 inch tread left in the middle. Bridgestone Dueler M\T.

I also ride a Triumph 675 and worry about tie issues all the time!

Bridgestone dueler M\T with 1\4 inch tread left in the middle. Bought them used for 300$. Never again! Im going to look into the issue for sure...

How do I find out if it was a re-tread!?
 
I'd be interested in your rims if they're priced decently. Let me know. :)

Was my favorite as well!

Only two rims are good, the other two are shot. Ill let you know as soon as insurance gives me info.

Very scary story - imagining a truck flipping over the guardrail just gives me the willies! Glad you are ok, and I truly hope you find your dog! What breed is he/she?

It may be premature until you hear from your insurance company, but if you are parting out, and your interior is tan, I'd be interested in the center console.

Ya man, I keep thanking...something... that I didnt! She is an Old English Bulldog, best dog I have ever had.

Interior is Gray(grey?)

Damn man, that really sucks. I'm with you on the ferrari comment... when I saw that pic I thought "HOLY ..... did he hit that car?" Not even your liability would help you at that point, unless you had some super high coverage limits.

Judging from the pics it could have been a lot worse, that guard rail on the side with the water looks about 3 feet high... going over that could have been fatal.

That's really too bad about your dog. Insult to injury, isn't it. She's a great looking pup, hope you find her soon.

(I can't get over that damage to the rear... that must have been a vicious hit!)

Seriously, I love that pic! I cant believe how low that railing is, your right it was about 3' or less!! When I started fishing towards it I remember thinking..Im Dead! The runner even lifted up and I was looking at the ground there! I would have hit the marsh as well not the water, so fatal for sure.
Thats my baby...Ill get her back Im 90% sure.
I hit really hard for sure. Im surprised im not more messed up! I am really sore though!
