I have been researching suspension and emailing many vendors and manufactures. I think Ive hit all the big ones, Slee, Apex, Metal Tech, Toytec, Filthy... many emails.. many opinions from guys that definitely know their stuff.
It is funny they all recommended SPC UCAs lol. Anyhow, Kings, Radflow, Bilstein 6112/5160, and BP51 are what I am down to.
Ive ruled out kings due to the bodies not holding up to the winters in my area. Not that excited about the Bilsteins either.. not sure why, I love their products. Not sure if the 6112/5160 have lifetime warranties or not?
Down to Radflo or BP51
The BP51 have a 3y/36000 warranty! pretty good! They however arnt extended travel or easily adjustable. From what I understand out of the box they are preloaded for winches and bumpers. I have just a stock Pro. In order to adjust preload you have to use a special spring compressor.
The Radflos, well the seem to check all the boxes. Durable finish, racing heritage, extended travel. the downside... 1 year warranty.
Goals are long term durability, low or OEM similar maintenance. Good on and off road manners. this truck is a daily driver that goes offroad only a few weekends a year. ultimately I want to run a 285 tire
