Tow hitch adjustment

I just put my 2in body lift today and was wondering what to do about my tow hitch, if you look at it obviously sits lower along with the frame. To adjust this should I re weld this or make some type of bracket?

Remove it and install an offroad bumper.

That thing is killing your departure angle.

That could work too.

I'm not sure how it was re-welded but if I was doing it I would bevel the edges, weld from end to end, also weld some diamond shaped plates over the seams.
