Was wondering if they made tow mirrors for a 4runner? like similar to a 1500's?

All that I have seen are aftermarket clip-on type mirror extensions (which I use for my camper), or the type that clamp onto the door (McKesh I believe).
As far as I know, no one makes the built-in extendable type like those available for GM and Ford trucks.

Hey, check out this 05 Tacoma. Look closely at the mirrors. I ran across it at the IRV2.com forum. The (former) owner (he upgraded to a bigger vehicle due to size of family) says they are Dodge Ram mirrors. I asked him some questions about them -- what year Ram, do they bolt up easy, does the power adjustment mechanism work, and so on. I'm waiting to hear what he says.
I tried 4 kinds of strap on mirrors on my 08 Runner, and they slip around on the 4Runner mirrors so are worthless. I also have tried McKesh mirrors. I can see OK with the McKesh's, but I'm not happy with them. When rolling the windows down, there seems to be a risk of scratching / damaging the side window glass. I'm not happy with the McKesh mirrors and am looking for a solution other than buying a truck with extendable tow mirrors, which I really really don't want to do. But I bought an 8' wide TT and I need to figure out some way to see around it to tow with the 4Runner.
Does anyone here know if this 05 Taco would have the same attachment configuration as the 4th Gen 4Runner?

I don't know if the mirror configuration is the same on the 4Runner as the Taco -- so far no one seems to know. But I'm not willing to have to make the shims, gaskets, yada yada, that this mod required on the Taco. I am capable of that kind of work, but my wife and I only have one vehicle, the 4Runner. The vehicle can NOT be out of service so I could do a mod like this.

I don't know what you tow but I gave on on the mirrors and mounted a camera on the back of my trailer. The camera with the little spot mirrors allow me to see everything.

I had them on a Tacoma, the only problem was the mirror vibrated loose with that wing nut. Put a lock washer on it and crank it tight.
I looked around a bit for tow mirrors and found these K-Source strapons had good reviews.http://www.ksource.org/Towing-HitchingProduct.asp?Lavel=2&Category=Universal I have a pair but never put them on because I went from a 8' wide trailer to a Trailmanor 2619.
I test fitted them on the 4Runner, only two of the four clamps work, bottom of the mirror they don't go in. If I had to I could file the plastic outer mirror and the clamps so they slid in. K-Source has good ratcheting rubber straps on the backside if you can get the mirror side clamped. They have stout adjustable connections with Phillips screws.
If I still had an 8' wide trailer, I'd go with the CIPA's again. I went to a narrow trailer so I don't need tow mirrors.
