Tow package accessories.

Can anyone tell me where I may be able to find the tow package kit that was sold with the vehicle?

There is an empty compartment on the right side of the truck area. I think there were several things that were supposed to go there.

What were they?

Maybe someone has one to sell.

Also looking for a manual book. Stupid dealer said they never got one with the trade. :/

Sounds like a 4th gen without the jbl system.

Its an 06 4wd v6 sport. Correct no JBL system.

Ah alright. Yeah thats what I figured went there. How does your runner do with towing?

Mine tows great. Always rock solid. Drove it 1500 miles loaded down and towing my trailer with my quad and averaged 23 mpg.

That's sweet. I'm looking forward to getting use it. Or finding excuses to use it. I'm still shocked I have one sitting in my garage right now. I don't know what I'm supposed to do now.

i'm scared to keep those heavy receivers in there. that door just feels too flimsy and i feel like if the receiver builds up any kind of momentum it'll break free and hit my dogs or something...

so i keep it at home. prolly gets me another 0.00001 MPG too!

When you look in there you'll see 2 straps. I tighten those around the receivers and they never move. I go wheeling regularly and if that doesn't send them flying I don't know what will. Btw, I have 2 dogs of my own so I share the same concern.

i'll check it out. right now i have a goofy first aid kit and some microfibre towels in there. i'd much rather have the receiver and adapter. i always seem to loose it when i need it.

I have two toyota first aid kits with the Velcro backing. I keep them stored in the gap between the second row seats and the vertical part of the double deck shelf. It's a good place for my cb antenna and ax (for camping) too. I've found so many small places for storage in this truck, its amazing.
