Towing a motorcycle

Hey guys, im about to buy a 6x4 trailer for my motorcycle and wondering how much of a drop I need on the ball mount to make the railer sit level when hooked up to the truck. I have a 3" lift and the mounts come in 4, 6, and 8 inch drops...

When I had my stock receiver, I had a 4" drop hitch that worked well for me. So I would say 4. 6 and definitely 8 seem too extreme.

it all depends on what and how the trailer is. i got the adjustable one that is like 2-8 maybe, 3 pin holes and i use them all for different trailer and depending on the load on them.
