I have 1200 mi. on my 06 V-8 Sport. Was planning on changing to Mobil 1 at 5K. In meantime need to tow an ATV and trailer (total weight) of 1,300 lbs. from CO to KS. Will be pulling several passes up to 11,000 ft. and am wondering if this is too early for the engine and transmission. Manual says don't tow for 500 miles. If it wasn't for the long pulls I wouldn't give it a second thought. Does anyone think I need to wait for more break-in mileage - other considerations??
