Toy2g 4th gen Build and 4x4 Conversion

I have been doing a lot on my 4th gen the last several weeks and I have more in the works. I did a build thread for my fifth gen, and I just started one for my 1st gen. It only seems fair to do one for my 4th since it has the most extensive work.

First I will make a list of Current mods that I can remember and then I will go in and back fill.

List:
2003 Limited V8 2wd.

4x4 conversion
3 inch donaho coilovers with tubular upper control arms
OME heavy rear springs
Rocktek Winch bumper
Rocktek Rear Bumper
PRG winch

Honestly. It was about 3k. And very straight forward. All if the parts are avail in junk yards so it was easy to source.

Great build! I've always liked your rigs since you first started coming around. I hope I can follow in your steps and convert mine someday when I can spare the cash and free time.

I don't know what bell housing you could use for the 4th gen....but my last 4x4 conversion was on a Lexus drivetrain and I used a Jeep Cherokee AW6 transmission and transfer case and it was bolt in for the most part. So if you could figure out what bell housing to use and where to bring the t-case shifters in...it could be done.

Back when I started my company we were doing these T-Max winches and I have used them on about a dozen builds. They have been pretty darn amazing to be honest. I originally ordered 160 of them. I am down to three.

A member on here bought an urban runner new and had the seats replaced with black leather. He kept his takeoff skins and eventually sold the set to me.

This build is for my silver one only. I sold my other 4th gen a few months ago but other than the black one being an SR5 and factory 4x4 they were built pretty much the same.
