• Four Wheeler teams with Toyota to build an outdoor-adventure 4Runner.
• Off-road equipment includes OME heavy-duty springs and shocks, a "bull bar" front bumper and Warn winch.
• There's also a roof-top tent and an onboard air compressor.

LAS VEGAS — Toyota says the 4Runner Backcountry, developed as a project vehicle with Four Wheeler magazine, was designed as "a self-contained exploration rig [for] the avid weekend adventurer."

Toward that end, the vehicle gains some serious off-road hardware, including OME heavy-duty springs and shocks, Falken WildPeak A/T tires mounted on 17-inch ATX Mojave wheels, ARB front air locker and "bull bar" front bumper, Warn winch and KC driving lights.

ARB supplied a steel roof rack, rooftop tent, awning and refrigerator, while EVO Manufacturing provided a rear-mounted spare-tire carrier and "rock sliders" to prevent off-road body damage. The vehicle is also fitted with an onboard air compressor, a fuel can carrier, a 13-gallon water tank and a custom water system/shower.

IT devices include a Cobra CB radio and a dash-mounted Garmin nav system.

Im curious on the ARB because its a longer full length rack, the BajaRack is ok, but shorter.
