i think the next 4runner will look very similar to that... all the new yotas are becoming more sleek and curvy and less angular. now if they would just give us a turbo diesel.

certain aspects look okay but the overall rounding out of that design isnt what i hope the 4runner does. Its supposed to have a more broad shouldered, blunt nosed look to it.

Oh yes the fortuner... we have that in the philippines, some people call it the 4runner over there so could be a possibility that the next gen might look similar to that...

The Fortuner is by no means a crossover even if looks like one. Since it is based on the Toyota Hilux it is a body on frame tough as nails vehicle. It has been sold in South Africa for about 2 years and became an instant hit as it is substantially cheaper than the next step up, the Prado, and a whole lot more vehicle than the Rav. In $ terms Fortuner- $50,000, Prado - $70,000.

It is offered in 4.0 V6 or something we all wish they would offer here, 3.0 turbo diesel which is the more popular model.

I dont particularly like the murano/lexus rx styling, but I would rather have it over the other two!
