Does anyone have an aftermarket alarm on their 4r? I guess my TE came with one but, I have opened the door from the inside with the windows down and no alarm went off, so I'm not too satisfied. Also moving to the NW in a few months so I will be in need of an auto start. Too bad You cant adjust the heat while out of the car as well.
Thinking about doing the full shabang. Viper 5901, window modules for 4 windows, remote start, and backup battery. Bought everything online from amazon for $356.79
They wanted 450 alone for the unit at the shop down the street. They would install it for $235
Instead of their total of $850, and still go through with them I'd be spending 591.71 and saving $258.21.
