This smells politically motivated to me. I mean f'n really did the NTSB hit Ford or Firestone when Ford Exploders were being shredded on the highways of America?.
If it comes down to it then I guess the question would be whether a reasonable consumer would have read the 'move your floormats' advisory as being the end of the problem.
