Toyota Stout

While surfing craigslist, I found something I have never heard of; a Toyota Stout. I thought I would share to anyone interested or that might need a project.

I know everything Wikipedia knows about them and not much more. They're what came before the hilux, and for a little bit Toyota sold both at the same time. Cool little trucks.

Toyota Of Dallas has one of these all original for sale. its in great shape and it is a 3/4 ton 2wd. I have only ever seen 2 in person.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Anything is possible with money. Don't know if they made a 4wd tranny for that motor. Hell, I don't know what motor is even in it. Wikipedia, here I come!

Probably an 18R or 16R. Or whatever the predecessor to these engines was. I was thinking 22RE, W56 and T/C swap completely... What a power boost u would get from the 22RE! (did I just say power boost from a 22re?) :dizzy:
