I installed a Kenwood 994s with maestro module wired in, also the Kenwood dashcam that integrates to the headunit. The Headunit shows me tire pressures, tire temps, and I can switch to two full screens with full gauges on them of my choosing from transmission temps to EGT exhaust temps to 0-60 times. Plus gives me the ability to change all the factory settings in the vehicle that a lot of people go to the dealer to have changed. Like windows roll down with remote, the lock beeps, lock when in Drive etc.... Ill get some pics
Can you post the links for all the parts (including the radio) you used to do this conversation?
So, I've used TechStream to set up a new key, changed the interior lighting timer ,changed my rear wiper swipe time, and turned off the stupid driver side seatbelt chime.
But I don't know how to change the parameters for the low pressure warning light (I have tire pressure monitors, and can see the real time pressure and ID's for the sensors), and I'm not sure how to change the settings to have the sunroof or windows go down using the keyfob buttons.
If anyone could be of assistance, I'd really appreciate it.
you set your tires to where you want them, then press and hold the tire pressure button below the steering wheel for several seconds, the tpms light will flash 3 times then turn off - this is reset. If you set your tires to 35 and do this the light should come on around 28 psi but these parameters can be viewed using techstream and going to the tire pressure ecu data list you can see your low tire pressure threshold for when it will set the light. It is not possible to set the threshold below a certain point, so if your trying to set it up so you wont have a tire light when you are down to 15 psi on the trail it isnt going to work, toyota has programmed it to remain on below certain pressures as it is not safe on the road.
