Toytec Boss Lift, SPC UCA Alignment Issues

Ok guys . So this morning I dropped off my 4r to my local Toy. dealer for a lift install. Setup that was installed is the 3” Toytec Boss lift, SPC upper control arms and 285/70/17 C Nitto ridge grapplers.

Issue is the alignment specs, specifically the caster. The tech said that that is the highest that he could get the caster to go. I suspect he is not familiar in how to properly adjust the spc uca’s. I have read multiple threads/posts here of people getting the caster in the high 3’s with spc UCA’s. Pic of alignment specs is below. Any help would be appreciated. PS I did hand him the spc uca installation instructions prior to the install. Surely he must be doing something wrong, or is he....?

From everything I've read and all the people i talked to, you should be able to get a lot more caster if the adjusting is done correctly. Find a tech who has worked with SPC UCAs before.

Looks like your installer was too smart to read the directions.

You will have no problems getting 4 degrees of caster with those UCAs.

Yep. I got 4.1 out of my SPC UCA.

OP-either take it back or find another shop.

We were able to get 4 degrees easily as well. As mentioned, most likely installer error.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Took it back to the Toy. dealership about an hour ago. With an explanation that they should not have any issues getting to 4 deg on caster and to follow the installation/adjustment instructions provided with the uca's. We will see how it goes....

Problem solved. Guy was not doing it correctly the first time. Thanks everyone
