Toytec coils?

I am new here and was wandering if anyone has done a coil replacement using the toytec front and rear coils? I have Bilstein 5100 adjustables for front and rear? Truck is an '05 SR5 v6 4wd. If so, where did you set you fronts? Did you need any spacers? How much overall lift was achieved? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

Welcome. You have blistering adjustable for the front. Most people run those with stock coils and get .75" to 2.5" lift depending on the setting. The instructions with those shocks will tell you how much lift for each setting. No spacers needed for the front. The rears are non adjustable and you can run them with toytecs superflex coils for a 2" lift in the rear. Some people prefer their trucks level, some like a little dip or "rake" in the front. Search for adjustable 5100s in the google search bar and you will find a bunch of responses of how people set theirs up, and photos of the stance at those settings.

I just finished my Ultimate 3" Toytec lift yesterday, listen to exactly what pearlj10 said. If you have any questions Toytec has tec support you can email and they get back to you in a timely manor. They answered a few questions I had about the front end, which helped greatly.

Care to share? what trouble you ran into

Sure no problem, I had difficulty removing the old coil-covers, because of the lower control arms would not move down. In this situation you must loosen the eccentric bolts to allow the lower control arm to drop. (Be sure to mark the position of the bolt so when you are done installing the new coil cover you can return to original position). Also the higher off the floor you can raise your 4 runner the easier if will be to install the new equipment, being safe of course.

I called Toytec. They were more than helpful. I am going to set the front at the .85 setting and use their front and rear coils. Should give me 3" in front. Coils should give me two in rear. Should be close to level with a little rake. Anyone use this setup? Any advice? I have read the forums. Just did not find much on the front coil usage. Thanks

what are their coilovers set to from the factory as far as lift?
