Got a link to the kit you are looking at?

Shocks aren't required to replace for a lift but its going to ride way better and have more travel if you get ones to match up to the springs you are getting. How many miles do you have on the truck? If you have a lot, might be time for new shocks anyway and doing a lift is the perfect excuse to get new shocks...or getting new shocks is the perfect excuse to get a lift!

Fixed your link.... Also, if you email toytec, they will be more then helpful. That's who I went with and after their shop started to put my order together (had them assemble my fronts for me) I even received an email saying the guys noticed I didn't get the front spacers to remove my rake that I would have with my setup. So what I'm saying is they just don't give you what you think you want\need. They cover the bases. I have the 891s in the back with the 10mm spacers and I need more due to my bumper. So I'll be getting with them in the next few months to get an upgrade. After that, I'm sure I'll be selling a few things....
