Toytec Radiator Support Kit Issues

Good morning Ladies and Gents, has anybody had any problems with the radiator support kit? It is supposed to be part of the Ultimate/Boss Lift Kit for non-KDSS 4runners. Long story short, I installed mine yesterday and while the sway bar spacers do help alleviate contact of the sway bar from the coil-overs, they push the sway bar into the radiator support brackets, which is where this kit comes into play. The only issue is that the spacers provided are not large enough to push the driver side bracket out of contact with sway bar. I had to add several washers in addition to the spacer in order to achieve maybe 1/4" of clearance. Also, the tabs on the factory skid are no longer able to be used. I had to hammer mine out of the way in order to bolt the skid plate back on. This was not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. Anyway, just taking a poll / throwing this info out there for anybody purchasing this Toytec lift.

Check and make sure your sway bar drop brackets aren't on backwards. If you have them on backwards it will push the swaybar forward towards the radiator support.

I just did the Toytec lift with sway bar drop and radiator support and do not have any contact with the swaybar. Same here with the skid plate tabs, had to smash them down with a hammer.

Its actually not a radiator support but a structural element of the front suspension. Never had luck with spacers to clear the swaybar and ended up buying the full on ARB replacement brace. Arb sway bar rub fix!!! Bp-51 fit kit

That cured any clearance issues.

I'll be looking into these for sure. The spacers are not on backwards, that was the first thing I thought as well.

Ok fellas, I've been combing the threads in this forum for this exact reason. Now, keep in mind that at this time I do not actually have my front suspension components installed.

With the above being said here is my situation, or question regarding how to avoid a situation. However ya wanna look at it.

I own a 2015 Trail Premium - NON KDSS. Just received my ICON 2.5 Extended Travel Front Coilovers w/ RR & CDCV. Not installed yet. Waiting on rear components. I read a lot about sway bar contact with the radiator support brackets. Not sure if it is worse with the ICON setup or not, or worse with the remote resi setup or not, or is an across the board issue with all the different systems ie. King, ICON, Toytec. Anyway, I've purchased ICON so that's what I'm looking at. Looking at several install images and videos, I've noticed that the resi mounting bracket mounts between the sway bar relocation spacer and the frame. Now with that being the case, can we assume that the additional thickness of the bracket along with the sway bar relocation spacer aggravates the contact issue with the sway bar and radiator support bracket? And if so, what if the lower portion of the resi bracket were cut off and and instead mounted to the side of the frame with 4 self tapping screws ( or something to that effect )???

Any thoughts??? Ideas??? Or just tell me I'm effing crazy and it would not make any difference. Just an idea.
