Toytec Superflex coils or OME 895's?

Wakey wakey, eggs and bacey. Sorry to ressurect an old thread but was wondering if there were any updates on your rides with the new setups?

2 months with the Superflex/5100 setup and could be happier! The rear settled to about 2" of lift, which was exactly what I wanted and the ride feels just like stock springs, even without any weight. For those who don't care about mixing and matching kits, the Superflex with OME front coils is the way to go! Add some 5100's and your golden!!

Casper, thanks for the update. Im thinking of doing same setup (5100 all around with superflex in rear) except keeping stock front coils. I only have a grill guard up there and dont think I would be adding anything else. What do you think? Trying to keep it as comfortable a ride as possible. Its my DD. Thanks for your input buddy.

If your going for 2.5"+ lift I'd recommend getting your lift from OME coils. You can crank the 5100's to 2.5" but then you loose a lot of travel and the ride will be much stiffer. Check out OME 884 coils. They provide about 2.5" but they arnt made to handle extra weight. I feel like that would give you the most comfortable ride.

I finally installed the Toytec Superflex rear springs in replacement of the OME 895 springs. The ride is much better, still feels firm but its not harsh, and it's a lot more comfortable. I have yet to test them off road but so far I am very happy with the switch.
