Toytec Ultimate lift kit with superflex rear coils - not enough rear lift....

Hey guys i have the Toytec Ultimate lift kit, with the superflex rear coils and also a 10mm spacer in the rear. With the truck at factory weight + 2 drawer storage system in the rear, the truck is pretty much level all around - however as soon as i add any weight, especially the roof top tent, the rear drops about 1" lower than the front. Im looking for about 1-1.5" rake in the rear with factory weight, and level or slight rake with the roof top tent.

Whats my best option? New springs or a 1.5" spacer to replace the 10mm?

I am on the Bilstein 5125 shocks in the rear if that matters.

Spacer is the easiest.

What I would want in this case is a 1-1/2" spacer and a set of firestone ride rite bags.

I have the bags and I love them since you can always level the rear with them.

Bags work fine if they are empty. To the OP if you want most flex and best ride get some LC coils. Superflex are nice because they ride good but are for a more level look. You can always lower the front a bit also.

You may want to consider the OME 861s. From what I've read, they seem to give a similar lift height as the LC 9 wraps without as much settling since they're progressive. Haven't come across any negative feedback yet. I was in a similar situation with the OME 890s. I purchased the OME 861s but haven't installed them yet.

Negatives would be way too much lift. Coils can fall out at max flex, shocks blow out, need super extended bump stops and way too much rake.

i have 861s and love them. I have a cbi rear bumper with tire carrier. I also have air bumps so that solves the super extended bump stop problem. As long as you set everything up correctly you won't lose a spring, i never have and its not possible even if I'm hanging a tire. My shocks aren't blown out either just need the correct length for the application.

So it may take more work then just changing the spring, but it is possible.

Would adding a 1 1/2" spacer from toytec (or daystar-cheaper) be a bad idea? I would remove the 10mm spacers. What are some negatives of doing this?
