Toytec Ultimate vs OME vs bilstein

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has pictures of full droop with any of these lifts. Currently leaning towards ultimate, but I noticed there are two options for rear shocks: 5112's and boss shocks. Which is better in terms of durability and articulation. Don't care too much about on road performance as long as it isnt shit.

Pass on the junk ass Bilstein and horrible Toytec customer service. I pulled all mine off after 5 months and 6k miles and went full Icon with remote reservoir and cdcv.

Thanks for the response haha, but I meant like a pic of how far the wheel travel is on the trails.

OME from that list since they are tried and true! I was not a fan of my bilsteins either, and toytecs are just overpriced bilsteins. I know this wasn't in your list of suppliers but check out Dobinson. They have comparably priced lifts and people have been having really positive experiences with their products and service on here lately. PS I have no affiliation with them.

Any flex pictures guys? Please I really care only about trail articulation

Front Suspension:

The droop / flex between all of those options are going to be pretty much identical to stock.

You have to work within the existing suspension geometry.

If you want to pony up for extended travel shocks and new uniball upper control arms, then you can squeeze another .5 inches of travel out of the shock.

Keep in mind that the less lift you have, the more usable droop you will end up with.

You can dump your sway bars to help with articulation, but if you use the truck as a daily driver you would probably hate the high speed driving characteristic.

In an IFS truck with factory arms, you get what you get until you move into a long travel kit or tear it all out and go solid axle. Two possible options with the latter reserved for the extreme gear heads.

Check out Toytec Superflex springs, they give an extra 2" of articulation if paired with a longer travel shock. I'm running OME 60020 rear shocks and the set up flexes great- I'll look for photos when I get home tonight.

I'm a big fan of OME suspension since it rides much better than stock and it lasts a long time without having to rebuild it on a regular basis. It may not be as fancy or as good as Icon or King, but it gets the job done with less maintenance.

Maybe its just the angle but my UCA looks different.

What I am really curious about is the ICON coilover with cdvc comment from "fordracing19". Did you have to change the UCA like ICON states is required or did you install them with stock control arms?

Mine is a 4th gen, 03 v8 awd. I did add the upper arms as my right ball joint was toast after limping it back 1k miles flopping around since the strut had no fluid left.

Thank you. Based on your observations during the install could the stock control arms work?
