TPMS CORE replacement 2004 4RUNNER

While putting air in one of my tires, the gas station attendant damaged the TPMS CORE in the VALVE -- NOT THE VALVE ITSELF.

Would there be a sensor problem if the little CORE is replaced by itself???

Thanks

are you talking about the little thing you press to release the air out? if so then no. the sensor itself is inside the rims.I had all 4 of mine replace when i has my REVO install.

Yes -- they call those little things the CORE or some guys call them worms .

But thanks -- you eased my mind and my wallet.

Yeah......cores, worms, slimjim air plugs, etc! You can purchase these from any auto parts store along with a core remover tool. Then just head off to the local station and change the little plugger at the air pumper. You will lose all of you air when you take the old one out......goood luck!
